Just like that, a complete teaser trailer appears without any warning!

Holy Bologna! Well if it's on the Sega website and no where near April, don't see why not. At first I thought chao but lol, I like the idea of aliens. It's something new yet probably won't be as perminent in the roster as Chip or Omochao. What I find odd is that Sonic Team tooken into account with spelling differences as it is also known as "Sonic Colours". I hope that this is the game that saves the Sonic franchise, although I think the title is lame, but never judge a book by it's cover.

Well by a glimpse of the trailer, The duck sez that its going to be better than Sonic 4

Mighty is right. Sonic Colors is probably the Sonic game to save the series, though, the developer needs to not put extra game-play modes like in Sonic Unleashed with Sonic the Werehog or Sonic and the Black Knight with swordplay. And you shouldn't count the game-exclusive power-ups as what I was saying.

These wisp things... for some reason I am tempted to make 2 new Sonic fan characters, who are wisps... I'll call them UltraViolet and InfraRed. That asside I am kinda dissapointed how everyone is saying "This'll save Sonic!". I mean Sonic 4 isn't even out yet and it's suppose to be based on Sonic's classic days. I agree with mystic, and I think sonic 4's gonna be better than this, I am surprised they're making a new game before Sonic 4's out, I thought the whole point of sonic 4 was to see if they stick to 3d gameplay or go back to 2d. Myself 123 14:52, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Myself 123, they would be comparing Apples to oranges. In order for a complete comparison to be legitimate, Sonic 4 needs to be released on disc, then they could compare...

I dunno, I figured it was made for download 'cus it's in 2D and therefore, doesn't need to be on disc

Here's what I mean. If SEGA was trying to compare sales between Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors, they need to change their marketing so that they are equal in comparison before release. Sonic 4's download-only marketing is an exclusive for people with high-speed internet (yes, there are still people out there with dial-up, including me) and even then, there is the fact if the customer wants to take the time to set up an account and pay up online (a lot of people will not use credit cards out of identity theft hazard) or go out and buy gift certificates for the service. Sonic Colors, however, looks as if it is marketed for younger children, and is also available on-disc for a console. Therefore, there are too many variables for each game in order to make an appropriate comparison.
