Hello SSN. Wikia will be hosting a Giveaway here at the SSN wiki starting tomorrow, and I wanted to give you guys a heads up. Sorry for the short notice, but it was sort of a last minute thing. The Giveaway will run from Feb 25 - March 7. During that time, there will be a temporary new skin that will be seen by anonymous / logged-out visitors, and possibly logged-in users too (not sure if they got it working for logged-in users or not, have to wait and see).

Tomorrow morning, I will make a blog post that will serve as the Giveaway "landing page". (See image below for a preview of what the page and skin will look like.) Also for the duration of the Giveaway, we will have a spotlight (one of the 3 images seen at the very bottom of every page) as well as a 300 x 250 sized ad for the Giveaway that will be displayed on all Gaming wikis to help drive traffic to the SSN wiki. It would be great if one of you admins could also mention and link to the Giveaway blog post in the Sitenotice too.

It appears at the top of the page when someone's first visiting the website. Unless you close it, it'll be up there for every article you visit. Understand? P.S. Like Noname said, the skin will only run during the Giveaway, which lasts until March 7th. Also, I just confirmed that the skin will only be visible by anonymous / logged-out visitors.
