It doesn't say anywhere that monobook is being kept. The blog itself is about how the new look will improve accesibility and the comments that 'say' this, are referring to monobook being availble at the moment. 23:01, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Don't matter if Monobook is kept. The current skin the majorit of the wiki uses is Monaco.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 23:22, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

But if you leave, the new wiki won't have Monaco because Wikia is the only site that supports that skin, so you would lose Monaco whether we move or not. All the wikis that left are using Monobook, so it would be dumb to leave after finding out that Monobook is staying and nothing else would support Monaco. SeanWheeler 01:44, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

You're not quite understanding what is going on here, MONACO is being removed, not MONOBOOK, which is what is being kept. All sites, no matter what form, type or location, can upport Monaco, no matter what. 01:59, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

I actually worked out they were keeping MonoBook because of other Wikia sites I browse while I am logged into SNN, since when you join one Wikia, you can join any other just by writting an article and you can browse other wikia's in your general wikia settings, so Ibeen looking through other Wikias as MonoBook while logged into SNN. If SNN still feel depressed by Wikia, I will still support it's move as against Tyranny. After all, while I get to stay with wikia because of MonoBook, it is not fair to those who want to use Monaco but are not allowed.--Mystic Monkey is at Pumpkin Hill this Halloween. 20:08, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

A few thousand users have already been protesting this crap for several months. The fact that nobody else seems to have realised this was coming is a tad concerning. But it's here now.
