I'm making this forum because I want to make an announcement. (Well, duh).
To start off, I'm about to undertake a long-term project on this wiki concerning the TV shows; Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM), Sonic Underground, and Sonic X. Sonic X appears to be more complete than the other TV shows, so I'll leave that till last and begin with Underground. As everyone here knows, information in the TV show area is somewhat deprived, yet not many people have bothered to add more info. So this is a duty I'm willing to undertake over the course of the next year, or however long it takes to do this.
There are three things I aim to complete in this project. The first two are filling out the synopses and adding screenshots. These are all fine and customary. But the final thing, which is not only by far the largest segment of the project, but also never seen before on this wiki, is transcripts.
These are basically pages for the dialogue in each episode. They're similar to scripts, but without stage directions. Transcripts don't just include spoken words, but also vocalizations such as gasping.
Each transcript will be a subpage of its respective episode with a navigation at the top to move between transcripts and a template at the bottom similar to the one of the episode's main page. No characters or objects need to be linked to in a transcript, as they're already linked to on the episode's main page; the episode title and the songs can be linked, however.
Many other wikis have transcripts for TV episodes; even Sonic Retro has some transcripts of their own (they haven't made all of them though) that I will occasionally use for reference. A transcript would be useful for someone who wants to know what certain characters are saying or someone who would just like to read along to the episode. Transcripts also make the information on an episode feel more complete.
