I think Elise kissing Sonic is the worst thing that could ever happen. If its not clear now, I'll make it clear. Sonic was never interested in Elise, like she was with him. He was also dead at the time, which makes him innocent. I say this because people on other websites have started to ridicule Sonic himself for things like that. Sonic Team needs to remember that Sonic is pure; If he becomes wrong at any point, hell is clearly freezing over, and the end of the world is at hand. True, now that I recall, Elise was all "Why do birds, suddenly appear" while Sonic was more of a good friend to her as well as hero protecting her from Robotnik. Eitherway perhaps Sonic knew she was crushing on him and accepted this since Elise isn't a pink screaming fangirl with a hammer. But yeah I believe that Elise kissing dead Sonic is wrong. Not in a bad way but more in a neutral sense but I guess since the fact her pale skin and white dress are signs of purity herself, it was her who awakened Sonic with her love and turned him into a golden beacon of hope to stop the trouble... Nnnnnnot quite... you see Elise and Sonic went to the past to blow out the candle and erase having an Iblis transplant when she was a child and thus no reason for Robotnik to start the game up by kidnapping Elise. I may not believe in "time" but I think in this time involved game it wasn't about going back in time to blow out the flame but the fact the flame was blown out so the games branching timeline was also blown out and the ending is the true timeline.--Mystic Monkey 21:47, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

I think that turning the game into a paradox was a good thing; it spared everyone of the knowledge that Elise kissed a dead Sonic, and made it never happen. Problem solved. But, on another note, the God that the people of Soleanna are worshiping is Solaris, correct? Well, in that case, why are they still worshiping him, if he is most certainly no longer alive (Elise blew out the premature Solaris, remember?)
