Forums: Index > Questions > When could Amy turn invisible?

In a playthrough I watched of Sonic The Hedgehog 2006, when you are playing through Silver's story and you go to Dusty Desert, you'll need to use Amy at one point. She can turn invisible...at will!!!!!! Is that how she always knows where Sonic is half the time? Stalker....Blue Light 17:07, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Blue Light

I usually have answers for everything but because Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) was produced prematurely (Never got finished or tested for problems) The only pure reason she can turn invisable is because it gives her a fair advantage, thats all their is and she probably won't get this power again in future games. She was better off if Sonic Team just gave her the exact same controls and physics from Sonic Adventure.--Mystic Monkey 02:54, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

The problem with the invisibility is that you can still see her d@*n shadow and her hammer!!!! I'm pretty sure that not all of Eggman's robots are retarded and can sense something is going on when they see a hedgehog shaped shadow and a floating hammer...Blue Light 02:58, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Blue Light

Chances are that most AI in the game was retarded. Stupidity will always best AI. I recomend not to think about this topic too hard since the game was litually rushed. I reccomend Sonic Team going DX/Directors Cut on it's ass, fix the plotholes, erase the glitches etc. If you are so determin to find a reason, lets just say Espio taught her how to do it.--Mystic Monkey 03:02, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Aw....WTF???I've been asking him to teach me since I bought Sonic Heroes.Blue Light 03:06, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Blue Light

Just a fan reason, the truth is Sonic Team were lazy.--Mystic Monkey 03:18, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. 2006 was unfinished when released, and due to the lack of a PC version, I doubt the majority would patch to remove the glitchs. I accept the Espio taught her idea. Flashfire212 02:47, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

If you'll permit me to self-advertise, I direct your attention to a fanfic of mine where Espio does precisely what Monkey & FFF surmised. :)

Just read it. Great one, Molten :) Flashfire212 01:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Hm, guess I will, but just so all know that SNN deals with canon information and not fanfictional stuff (unless on userpages) Try not to get confused beftwwen fan and actual, even if you ar the sister of Shadow, boyfriend of Amy or whatever... your not really. <_<--Mystic Monkey 03:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I wasn't trying to imply that the theory was canonical. Hence my use of the word fanfic. Although in lieu of any better explanation, the Espio theory might be worth a mention, if clearly labelled as "Informed speculation". Jus' sayin'. Molten Scandium 06:15, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I have to agree with Molten on this one. Flashfire212 05:56, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
