General Hunn is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was a Robian employed by Dr. Eggman.
History[]
Originally a citizen of Kar Leung, Hunn and the rest of the village's population were captured and Roboticized by Dr. Eggman, following his invasion. Under Eggman's control, General Hunn attempted to turn Monkey Khan into a pawn of the Eggman Empire, only for the operation to end up increasing Khan's powers, allowing him to break free and escape to the power center. Upon hearing this, Eggman ordered Hunn to send more SWATbots in pursuit of him. However, one of the SWATbots accidentally shot the generator, causing the factory to explode, but not before Khan and Eggman escaped, with the latter escaping with all the roboticized citizens, including Hunn.[1][2]
Trivia[]
- General Hunn is most likely modeled off the Bull Demon King from the Chinese novel Journey to the West, as he is the captor of Monkey Khan, who in turn is based off the Bull Demon King's enemy in Journey to the West, Sun Wukong.
