George is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is an anthropomorphic dog who lives in the Wood Village Zone.

History

Like other residents of the village, George believed that Clive the Donkey was a wimp because he preferred technology to sport.[1]

For several weeks, George and the Wood Village Zone had been harassed by a lone Trooper (who was Clive disguised to get back at the villagers) who demanded extra taxes. George eventually grew tired of this extortion, and alerted the Freedom Fighters to the village's plight. Eventually, George tried to stand up to Trooper when it came for taxes, but backed down when the Badnik threatened him, leading Midred to berated him. George, however, calmed her once he revealed he contacted the Freedom Fighters. However, he was slightly disappointed when he saw that only Tails came to help them, instead of Sonic or Shortfuse the Cybernik.[1]

Later on, George heard from Tails that Clive had used his technical expertise to help Tails escape from a Trooper transport ship. As such, he and his village gained a new-found respect for Clive.[2]

Personality

George is a meek and cowardly man, though he does attempts to stand up to the foe, albeit with limited success.
