Mildred is a poodle, and George resembles a terrier. Like other residents of the village, they believed that Clive the Donkey was a wimp because he preferred technology to sport, leading Clive to dress up like one of Robotnik's Troopers and con money out of them by demanding extra taxes. George eventually tired of this extortion, and alerted the Freedom Fighters to the village's plight. He was slightly disappointed that Tails came to help them, instead of Sonic or Shortfuse the Cybernik.[1]
At Tails' urging, Clive eventually returned all the money he had stolen. When George and Mildred learned that Clive had used his technical expertise to help Tails escape from a Trooper transport ship, they gained a new-found respect for him.[2]
EtymologyEdit
George and Mildred are named after two characters, George and Mildred Roper, from the 1970s British sitcoms Man About the House and George and Mildred.
