The Ghost Ship of Tantaragor[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a slave ship used by a trio of evil Tantaragor.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Ghost Ship is mostly a normal ship in terms of shape and build, although it has a ghostly white and blue color scheme.

Features and traits[]

As an air ship, the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor is capable of being piloted through the sky.

History[]

Past[]

The Ghost Ship of Tantaragor was taken by a trio of Tantaragors who were devoted followers of the deceased evil priest Orkym-Ro. Planning to build a stone monument for their priest to be buried in, the trio used their stolen Tantaragor Idol to take the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor to Mobius and kidnap slaves.[2]

The Ghost Ship[]

After having brought a number of slaves onboard,[3][1] the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor was spotted by the Sky Pirates in the skies.[3] This prompted Captain Plunder to find and convince Knuckles the Echidna to help him reach the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor via the Floating Island so he could steal their Tantaragor Idol. Upon entering the ship and stealing the idol though, they were confronted by the Tantaror, who had several slaves with them.[4] When the Tantaror proved too powerful, Knuckles and his pirate associates attempted in vain to escape the ship. It was then that Plunder and his group were teleported off the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor by Ekkletos via the Tantaragor Idol.[1][5]

After Knuckles learned of the Tantaragors' plans with the slaves, Ekkeltos transported Knuckles back to the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor to save the slaves.[2] On board, Knuckles was beaten by the Tantaragor trio, but the mission was merely a decoy whilst Ekkletos used the idol to bring the Ghost Ship back to the Tantaragor dimension. There, Ekkletos tore the ship apart before sending everybody home.[6]
