Globe Posts are a technology made by Dr. Ivo Kintobor of Moebius that allows portals to be generated and allow anyone to journey to distant locations. They were originally intended to be used to travel to alternate dimensions to find new medical techniques, but a copy of them were stolen, yet heavily damaged, by the Suppression Squad under the command of King Scourge the Hedgehog. The Posts were repaired by Miles and Boomer and used to interface with the Star Posts in Freedom HQ, allowing the Squad gain access to and invade the base. After Scourge was defeated, they were forced to hand the Globe Posts back to Dr. Kintobor, but not before Miles memorised their schematics. (StH: #189, #190, #193, #196)
