History

It acted as a safe haven for the Mobians who managed to escape the city during Dr. Ivo Robotnik's military coup and was where Knothole was built. For many years it acted as the home for the Knothole Freedom Fighters. (StH: #1, #43, #142) A large portion of the forest was destroyed during the destruction of Knothole, but deeper areas of the woods remain intact. (StH: #175)
