The Guardians are a group that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. They are three sentient beings seemingly made out of or residing within statues that resemble the members of the Sonic Underground.
History[]
TV series[]
Season one[]
The Guardians have been considered, as their names would imply, guardians of Mantu's people and have been residing on Speedster Island for a very long time while stuck in a deep slumber. In the present, they had been inactive for so long that Mantu simply considered them a legend. When the Sonic Underground played the three notes that were carved into their bodies, the Guardians awakened and, in order to protect the people of the island, destroyed all Swatbots and forced Sleet, Dingo, and Bartleby to evacuate, preventing the island from being sold. The three then went back into their slumber.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Thanks to their size and composition, the Guardians can easily crush robots with their feet or by punching them. They are also capable of firing laser from their eyes.[1]
