Harold Mudd from Sonic the Comic #134. Art by Richard Elson.

Harold Mudd is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a curmudgeonly old man from the Special Zone. He lives with his wife Maude at 126 Crustacean Road in New Tek City. He is a purple-skinned dog with a comb-over, who wears a green sweater and habitually sits in a green armchair.

One Sunday afternoon, Maude offered Harold a cup of tea, only for him to snap that he didn't want tea because he was going down the pub like he always did on a Sunday dinner-time. Their bickering was interrupted when Sonic the Hedgehog crashed through their living room wall, pursued by Blockhead Bill riding a gigantic red dinosaur. Bill chased Sonic away, only for Chaotix to arrive moments later, following both of them. Once Chaotix had run off too, and surrounded by the remains of their house, Harold decided he did want a cup of tea after all.[1]
