Sonic Rush Adventure
Hidden Island 2 is one of the sixteen Hidden Islands in Sonic Rush Adventure. Blue and Iron Materials can be earned by completing this stage. Hidden Island 2 can only be unlocked by locating it on the game's Sea Chart.
Hidden Island 2 appears as a small volcano island. The island is described as hollow with a huge hole in the middle and caves so deep that the sun can still be seen from within them.
The section that the player travels through is a lush tropical area with fertile brown soil and grassy cliffs. In the background, a view of the sea with small tropical islands and white clouds in the horizon can be seen.
Seeking Captain Whisker and his crew, Sonic, Tails, Blaze and Marine came to Hidden Island 2. There, the group found an ancient relic which Marine touched despite her friends telling her not to several time. This triggered an earthquake on the island, and the group got blasted into the sky where they land on Sky Babylon.
Like most other Hidden Islands, Hidden Island 2 is a short stage which can be finished in less than a minute. The gameplay here focuses on precise maneuvering on platforms with no buffers; move to fast or careless and the characters will fall (or be launched) into a bottomless pit. Also, barrel-throwing Badniks and Pirate Hogans are placed at all the ledges and ascending spots: if the player ascends in these spots carelessly, they will move straight into the enemies' attacks with no means of protection.
First, the player has to move right until they reach a Spring. Use this Spring to reach the platform above which has another Spring. Continue this pattern until the characters reach a horizontal string of platforms and move right until another Spring appears. Use it to reach another platform above with another Spring, and use that to reach a small moving platform leading to the top. There, the Treasure Chest is found.
- If the player tries sailing to Sky Babylon, they will play through Hidden Island 2 instead.
