Hip, as seen in Sonic Underground.
Hip Hedgehog was the name given to a baby hedgehog found by the Sonic Underground and whom Manic the Hedgehog became close with.
History
It was later revealed to be a robot (some kind of surveillance camera) created by Doctor Robotnik and planted for the Sonic Underground to find. When the gang discovered this, they were disappointed and Hip was destroyed. Hip looks a bit like Sonic, except the only differences are the much lower ears, blue furred arms, and the face being much different. He is shown to have intelligent characteristics, as after the episode's song, he had a dream sequence of him and Manic.[1]
Trivia
- Another Hip Hedgehog Unit is shown in the episode, so there may be more than one.
