Holoska is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a small icehouse village on the continent of Artika, and a part of the United Federation. It is maintained traditionally by its native inhabitants who make it cozy despite its coldness.[1]
History[]
During the Shattered World Crisis, both Jari-Thure and his wife, Sarianna, were abducted and imprisoned by the Artika Egg Army. Fortunately, they were rescued when Sonic the Hedgehog and Rotor the Walrus, with some help in form of Chip, let themselves get imprisoned so that they could help the two break out. Eventually, Sonic and Rotor were rewarded with the couple's Gaia Key as thanks for their actions.[2]
Later on, the area's Gaia Temple would be abducted when Dr. Eggman seized control of all seven temples for his own ambitions.[3]
Trivia[]
- Holoska is based on the Town Stage with the same name from the video game Sonic Unleashed.
