- Robotnik's pet rat (Only appearance)
- Grounder's pet Lizard (Only appearance)
- A Spider (Only appearance)
- A Cockroach
After some bumbling idiocy by Scratch and Grounder, Dr. Robotnik finishes his Super Shrink Ray which he begins to use to shrink entire cities of Mobius and place them under a plastic dome. His plan will then commence in enslaving the tiny inhabitants and make them give him all their natural resources which he will then enlarge to normal size.
Meanwhile at Mole Mountain, the foreman, McMole has invited Sonic to come and motivate the Mole Miners to be more productive in getting coal. Tails drops on them a bunch of blue, spiny sonic-looking hard hats and Hi-tops. The moles are then motivated to work much faster. However the entire mountain is soon shrunken and placed under Robotnik's dome.
Sonic can't escape the dome, so the Mole miners all do a Spin Attack together and cut through the dome so Sonic and Tails can get out. The heroes head for the shrink ray which is just a few feet away, but feels like many miles because they are so small. They have a run in with a spider, but they escape just fine. Tails then notices that his tails are tied together from the spider's web, so he cannot fly.
Robotnik spots Sonic and Tails and commands Scratch and Grounder to find them. After Sonic messes with the Badniks for a while, Grounder releases his pet, bug eating lizard. Sonic traps the lizard in a jar, but he and Tails are then sucked into a vacuum cleaner by Robotnik. Sonic finds a screw in the vacuum bag which he drills into Robotnik's nose and escapes. They glide on a piece of tape over to the shrink ray, but Robotnik forces them to surrender in order to ensure the safety of everyone in the dome. Robotnik puts the heroes into a corked vile made of tempered glass and places them next to his pet rat whom he says he will eventually feed them to.
The mole miners burrow out of the dome and attempt to free Sonic and Tails by tying the vile to the rat and letting the rat free. The vile is knocked over, but the rat then tries to eat the moles. Hoping to save his friends, Sonic rolls the vile off the table hoping it will break. Scratch catches it, but Sonic cleverly tricks him into letting them out.
Robotnik, Scratch and Grounder then all pull fly swatters out, but before they can get Sonic and Tails, the mole miners all bite Robotnik's leg. Sonic gets an idea from seeing this and goes in Scratch's head and Tails goes in Grounder's and they both take control of the robots by using their "mind control over-ride". Under the control of Sonic and Tails, Scratch and Grounder rough up Robotnik and reverse the polarity of the machine to restore everything to the correct size. After being returned to his normal size along with Tails, Sonic then shrinks Robotnik and the latter is chased away by a hungry cockroach.
