Hovercrafts are manned aircraft used as a means of transportation for Robotnik, Snively and SWATbots.

These crafts may contain important shipments for factories, but they are mainly used for security purposes. Hovercrafts have laser guns and missiles as weapons, and are painted either blue or red. They can fly around at any height and are attracted to gun flares. They cannot be tripped by the trip cord, but will still break it. These units can only be harmed by acid bombs and other destructive weapons.
