Hyper Knuckles (ハイパーナックルズ Haipā Nakkuruzu?) is Knuckles the Echidna's hyper transformation that is gained when he taps into the power of seven Super Emeralds and fifty rings or the Master Emerald. His only game appearance was in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but he has made a couple of appearances in the Archie Comics fighting several enemies like Super Sonic, Robotnik, and Mammoth Mogul. However, it should be noted that in the Archie Comics, Hyper Knuckles is the given name of Knuckles's Chaos Emerald powered Super State.
Appearance
Like Super Knuckles, Knuckles does not receive any physical transformation, but his fur pulses from red to pink. Unlike his Super State, however, any movement he makes leaves after-images.
