History

He was personally chosen by King Maximillian Acorn to escort Queen Alicia and his son Elias to their embassy on Angel Island during the Great War, but his plane was shot down by a group of enemy Overlanders. Only Elias, Alicia and Sommersby survived, but Ian was killed in the crash. (KtE: #19, 20)
