The Inter-Zone Exchanger from Sonic the Comic #32. Art by Casanovas.

The Inter-Zone Exchanger is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a dimensional gateway to the Misery Zone designed by Doctor Robotnik and built into a monitor.

The Mysterious Traveller brought it to the Emerald Hill Zone, attempting to convince Sonic to jump into it, but Tails jumped into it instead. Tails was transported to the Misery Zone in exchange for the deadliest creature of the Misery Zone being transported the Emerald Hill Zone. Luckily, Sonic was able to use the monitor to transport the two back to their respective homes, saving both the Emerald Hill Zone and Tails.[1]
