J.J. Moto is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, published by Archie Comics. He is a human detective in Station Square.

Appearance[]

J.J. Moto is a fair-skinned human with cyan hair, eyebrows & eyes. He wears a blue collared coat with black shoulder pads complete with a black belt decorated with a gold police badge, and a dark gray shirt & lighter gray pants underneath it. The gloves he wears are black with red knuckle guards.

History[]

J. J. Moto was hired to solve the mystery of who stole the city's Chaos Emerald and destroyed Silver Sonic II. The President suggested it was Sonic the Hedgehog, though in actuality, the evidence showed that it was Shadow.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Ian Flynn has stated he would love to bring Moto back and use him, but says that "random human detective" is kind of a hard angle to work with since J.J. isn't directly related to G.U.N., the comic's current main source of human characters.[2]
