Jamal is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a human fisherman and resident of Adabat, the youngest son of Teanchi, and the sister of Rudi, Kaeo and Nagi.[1]
History
Shattered World Crisis
Act Two
When the Shattered World Crisis hit, the ancestral home of Jamal's family was destroyed. Fortunately, Jamal's brother Kaeo would house him and their family. However, Jamal grew increasing concerned for his father Teanchi who would not stop sulking over the loss of their family's legacy. Jamal eventually came together with his family-thanks to Kaeo-, to help Tails and Bunnie D'Coolette snap Teanchi out of his depression, so he could help the foreign duo save the world. After Teanchi cheered up, they shared a joyful moment with his family, before bidding Tails and Bunnie goodbye after they received the Gaia Key.[1]

- Jamal originates from the game Sonic Unleashed, where he is a native of Adabat.
