The Jaws during Robotnik's siege of Labyrinth.

When Dr. Robotnik attacked the underwater city of Labyrinth, troops of his Jaws were deployed around the kingdom. These Jaws attacked Sonic, Tails and Surff when they headed to Labyrinth in a submarine. However, the trio escaped them by luring them into an undersea rock slide that crushed them.[1]

A single Jaws was later used as a submarine controlled by Scratch and Grounder to attack Sonic and Tails on their way to Sanpelagroso. Despite using the Jaws' various armaments and on-board Chopper troops, Sonic and Tails escaped to the island.[2]

Powers and abilities

The autonomous Jaws are very fast swimmers, capable of keeping up with a Sonic-powered pedal submarine, and could as well spit highly powerful torpedoes.[1] The submarine-based Jaws was equipped with a screw that could create tidal waves and a remote-controlled sawblade that could slice boats clean in half.[2]

The autonomous Jaws each wielded a long silver lance for combat. Their proficiency with them is unconfirmed.[1]
