HistoryEdit

Jet first appears riding his Extreme Gear away from a E-10000G, and E-10000R after stealing a device from Dr. Eggman. After being both arrogant and cocky, Jet gets distracted, and is captured by an Egg Hammer.[1] After being captured, and brought to Eggman's base, Jet is placed into a type of Egg Grape. Eggman questions Jet as to why he stole his Vapor Accelerator, to which Jet replies that he's been through tough times since he quit the armada. During the conversation, Eggman mentions Sonic the Hedgehog, a person not known to Jet. Jet asks who Sonic is, and Eggman tries to explain. Jet arrogantly replies, saying that he'll defeat this "Sonic". The two villains make a deal; if Jet roughs up Sonic, Eggman will let his live.[2]

Later on, Jet, Wave, and Storm appear near Freedom HQ, to fight Sonic. When he arrives on his Extreme Gear, Jet, tells Sonic that he doesn't look too fast, and the two rivals agree to a race.[3] During the race, Sonic mocks Eggman's new lackeys for being "slow-pokes", though Jet responds by teasing Sonic for sweating, and calling him a "snail". Jet proceeds to speed up, and declare that after he beats Sonic, the Babylon Rogues will then defeat Knothole. Jet provokes Sonic even more by saying that he can watch if he can keep up, and sticking his tongue out.[4] The Babylon Rogues begin beating Sonic up, whilst Jet calls himself the fastest. After Sonic falls to the ground, Storm realizes that they haven't introduced themselves yet. Jet replies "How rude of us", and Wave sarcastically says "Whatever."[5] They introduce themselves, and Jet announces that they're the Babylon Rogues. [6] Before leaving, they say that they'll be attacking Knothole tomorrow. The next day, while heading to Knothole, Jet, Wave, and Storm rudely exchange thoughts on if Sonic will show up. Jet acts calm and tough, saying that Sonic won't be there. Continuing the ride, the Babylon Rogues are blown off course by red, blue, and orange stripes of speed.[7] The strips turn out to be Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Sonic proclaims that he's surprised the Babylon Rogues showed up, themselves. Jet calls the heroes posers, and screams that he's trashing Knothole out of principle now.[8] While battling, Jet insists that Sonic can't beat him. Sonic responds saying that he can beat him Jet, and asking if Jet wants to destroy Knothole.[9] Sonic then excitedly announces that the Babylon Rogues will have to beat the heroes to Knothole. After, Jet accepts the race, and the story ends.[10]

RelationshipsEdit

Doctor EggmanEdit

Jet, and Eggman start their experience as being enemies, after Jet stole his Vapor Accelerator, to speed up his Extreme Gear.[11][12] After Eggman mentions Sonic, the two make a deal, and appear to become allies, of a sort.[13][14] It is currently unknown, as to where their relationship stands now.

Sonic the HedgehogEdit

Upon first hearing of Sonic being the "Fastest thing alive", by Eggman, Jet strikes an automatic hate for Sonic and makes a deal with Eggman to rough him up. [15][16] When Jet and Sonic first meet, Jet starts off by insulting Sonic.[17] Sonic begins name-calling as well during a race with Jet, and the two begin bickering like young children, firing off an immediate rivalry for the title of "Fastest thing alive."[18][19][20][21] After Jet's allies beat up Sonic a bit, Jet finishes the battle and states "I'm the fastest!"[22]

Wave the SwallowEdit

His relationship with Wave in the Archie Comics is not very known, due to the Babylon Rouges appearing for only two issues to advertise Sonic Riders. It is most likely that his relationship with Wave is the same as his game counterpart.

Storm the AlbatrossEdit

His relationship with Storm in the Archie Comics is not very known, due to the Babylon Rouges appearing for only two issues to advertise Sonic Riders. It is most likely that his relationship with Storm is the same as his game counterpart.

TriviaEdit

  • Jet, along with the rest of the Babylon Rogues, were originally part of the Battle Kukku Army.
  • According to Bean, Jet's real name may in fact be "Jettison Q. Hawkington". Despite the fact that Bean comes up with nicknames for everyone, and Jet firmly denies having this name, it's not impossible for Jet to simply be embarrassed by having such a name.
  • Speedy had actually wanted to be just like Jet, presuming the reason for him to have green feathers like Jet.
  • Jet has been shown to have no teeth in the cover of Archie Sonic Universe Issue 33, but on the cover of the next issue, he is shown to have teeth.
  • known to be part of the grand kuku army
