Ken Balough (born 1979) is a former digital brand manager for Sega's community team who worked on the American side of the company in San Francisco.

Career[]

Ken Balough has been known as a manager and for promoting games devolved and released by SEGA. In the community, he was well known for being more openly involved in the game Sonic the Hedgehog 4 as he had teased it during an interview with GameSpot right when the game released its teaser trailer. He was also shown in E3 2010, selling T-shirts of Project Needlemouse and guiding players on how to play the game. Even before Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Ken has also worked on Sonic Unleashed as assistant brand manager as well.

He has appeared in almost every video of SEGA's Free Stuff Friday videos, representing the giveaways every Friday. He has also taken comedy roles in the videos from SEGA's YouTube account. He has used SEGA's Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts as well. On 18 March 2013, Ken announced on the SEGA forums about leaving his position at SEGA to join the team at Sony PlayStation.[1]
