In Sonic Advance, the KeroKeros appear as enemies. They are encountered exclusively in Neo Green Hill Zone on Normal difficulty.

In gameplay, KeroKeros make small jumps toward the playable character and will be croaking occasionally. This Badnik is relatively harmless and the only real damage they can inflict is if the playable character runs into them. To defeat a KeroKero, the player can use any attack, although the Spin Attack and Spin Dash are particularly useful against this enemy. Upon their destruction, they will release an Animal.

Other game appearances[]

Sonic Pinball Party[]

In Sonic Pinball Party, the KeroKeros make an appearance as obstacles. They can be found on numerous pinball tables.

Powers and abilities[]

As per their design, the KeroKeros are excellent jumpers.

Trivia[]

  • Its name comes from "Kero" (ケロ), a Japanese onomatopoeia for the croaking of a frog.
