King Arfur is the King of the Hound Table in the medieval period of Mobian history. He has a daughter named Princess Gwendolyn and a magician named Merlynx.

Robotnik attempted to overthrow King Arfur in order to activate the Chaos Emerald of Invincibility that he had stolen from Merlynx. Fortunately, Arfur's kingdom was saved by Sonic and Tails.[1]
