The Knight Pawn is a robot enemy that appears in Sonic Rush Dr. Eggman and are a variation of the Egg Pawn . They reappear in the Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic Generations
Appearance Knight Pawns have the body model of an Egg Pawn, but are colored black instead of the typical red. They wield lances, have knight-like helmets on the top of their heads, and have cyan eyes.
Game appearances Knight Pawns appear only in the Water Palace stage. Their attack pattern is similar to a regular Egg Pawn; they run at Sonic or Blaze and attack them with their lances. They can be defeated by either a Spin Dash or by stomping on their heads.
Knight Pawns reappear in the same stage as before . No attack patterns have changed whatsoever in their leap towards the Nintendo 3DS.
