Objective: Reach the Goal Ring.

Stop the Aliens' tank!
Guide: Sonic
Objective: Destroy the Black Arms' tank before it reaches the end of the stage.
Tips: Shooting the tank will not do any good at first, but after being shot a lot, the tank's barrier will be destroyed. Rapid fire guns are very helpful with this part. Once the barrier is destroyed, you can then destroy the tank with just one Homing Attack or just one gun shot. If the aliens managed to escape before you destroy the tank, simply kill yourself and you will restart from the last checkpoint (the point where the aliens haven't escape). However, you can't get an A-Rank this way.
