Maybe we need a new vocation, something that plays to our strengths.
What are our strengths?
We look good in matching outfits?
Hey, that's great! What can we do with that?
— Chameleon, Weasel Bandit, Dave the Intern and Willy Walrus, "Lightning Bowler Society"
The Lightning Bowler Society is a group that appears in the Sonic Boom television series. It was a bowling team formed by members from the Lightning Bolt Society when they sought a new vocation. Although the team quickly acquired a big fanbase, it was ultimately disbanded.
Having lost their eightieth consecutive battle (thanks to Team Sonic) when trying to commit villainy, the Lightning Bolt Society's core members thought of trying out a new vocation. Deciding to become bowlers, they formed the Lightning Bowler Society. Proving quite skilled in bowling, the group easily beat the One-Percenters and the Pin Dashers, and became celebrities. After arranging a rematch with the Pin Dashers, the Lightning Bowlers received endorsement deals from Meh Burger, fame on the Comedy Chimp Show, and respect. However, when the Chameleon announced his decision to go solo, the Lightning Bowlers had an argument fueled by their overblown egos that made them disband. Although Team Sonic tried to reunite the group, the members would rejoin the Lightning Bolt Society after they realized that villainy united them as friends without driving them apart.
The Lightning Bowler Society's uniforms consist of purple bolwing shirts with a wide white stripe down the middle, and matching shoes. The shirts are also emblazoned with the Lightning Bolt Society's insignia.
