Reception
Edit
Her reception with Sonic fans is mostly positive. Like most of the 4Kids actors, Ortiz started off a with mixed reaction, but eventually gained a highly positive reception for her role as Amy Rose. Fans have praised her performance for being youthful, energetic, and showing emotion perfectly (especially when Amy gets angry or shows her feelings for Sonic) as opposed to Jennifer Douillard, whom many fans claimed had no emotion in her voice, and in comparison to Cindy Robinson, whose high pitched performance has gained a lot of negative reception.
