Amy tries to hit an enemy at its weakest point, leaving it vulnerable.

— Description, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood[1]

Low Blow (ローブロー Rō Burō?) is a POW move used by Amy Rose in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy jumps up and hits a foe with her Piko Piko Hammer. This attack may leave the foe vulnerable.

Description[]

When performing Low Blow, Amy moves up in front of the opponent and jumps into the air. As she falls down, Amy brings her Piko Piko Hammer down on the opponent in a downward swing, trying to hit the opponent at his/hers weakest point. After hitting the opponent, Amy then retreats to her team position.

In gameplay, Low Blow deals attack damage to a single target. When it deals damage, Low Blow has a chance of inflicting vulnerable on the target. The higher the level of Low Blow is, the more attack damage it will deal and the greater the possibility that it will inflict vulnerable on an opponent.

Real-Time Interaction[]

When performing Low Blow in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Low Blow optimally. For these actions, the player has to touch and stay inside the outer circle that appears when it overlaps the inner circle and follow it in a downward curve on the middle of the screen from left to right. Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Amy missing the strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.
