The Mandaras were a legendary race of giants that Princess Sally had been researching. She was unable to find any proof that they actually exist or any other information about them.
Naugus lured Sally and Bunnie Rabbot into the Void by using a ring, forged to resemble proof of the Mandaras' existence. When Sally read three characters on the ring out loud, she and Bunnie were brought to the Void.[1]
