Masato Nakamura (中村 正人 Nakamura Masato) is a Japanese musician, bass guitarist, and record producer born in Tokyo, Japan on 1 October 1958.
He also worked with SEGA on Sonic Generations, because it featured remakes of tracks that he had originally composed for Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Nakamura was originally a session musician before forming the "Cha-Cha & Audrey's Project" with Miwa Yoshida. In 1988, they formed the band Dreams Come True. In July 2002, he founded the record company "DCT Records" with Yoshida. They now serve as executive producers. In 22 June 2008, he married Mākii, the 21 year old former lead vocalist of the rock/metal band High and Mighty Color. Nakamura composes many and arranges almost all the songs for Dreams Come True.
