Mazuri is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a settlement in Efrika which is menaced by the Efrika Egg Army, and a part of the United Federation.[1][2]
History
As with every settlement on the Efrika, Mazuri would be harassed by the Efrika Egg Army. During a raid from said group, Mazuri had its local Gaia Keys stolen, along with anything else.[1]
Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails and Chip later came to Mazuri looking for the Gaia Keys to resolve the Shattered World Crisis. Learning of the keys whereabouts from Gwek and the villagers outside the village, the trio headed to the Savannah Citadel Zone.[1]
Trivia
- Mazuri being menaced by the Efrika Egg Army may be a nod to how the previous incarnation of the village was targeted by the Efrika Dark Egg Legion.
