The Mecha Bot[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a mass-produced robot designed by Dr. Robotnik to safeguard Robotropolis.
Appearance
Mecha Bots are red, round robots. They have a blue cockpit mirror, a grey canon for a nose, and black wheels for traversing on the ground.
History
While infiltrating Dr. Robotnik's home base of Robotropolis, the Freedom Fighters were spotted, with Robotnik sending out the Mecha Bots to chase them. Although Sonic the Hedgehog managed to escape the Mecha Bots' pursuit, he was eventually caught when said robots sprayed him with Mega Muck. This forced Dulcy to sweep in and save him.[1]
Powers and abilities
The Mecha Bots are capable of high-speed flight, and can shoot out Mega Muck from their canons to capture enemies.[1]
