The Medal of Gawain is an unlockable item in Sonic and the Black Knight.

It is obtained through defeating Sir Gawain and buying it with enough ID Points. When it is equipped, Knuckles' and Gawain's theme, "Unknown From M.E." is played. 2 Medals of Gawain can be combined with 2 Steel Longswords, 2 Lava Jewels, and 2 Samurai Helmets to create Sir Gawain's final weapon Flamberge.
