Description

The Memory Scrambler is a blue-grey rectangular handheld device. It has a single antennae on top that extends out when in use, and a red light on the front that lights up when in use. It has several buttons on it, with the yellow button on the far right being used to activate it.

Features and traits

The Memory Scrambler shoots out a blue ray that, when hitting a victim, will causes them to temporarily lose their memory. The victim's memory can be restored quicker with the aid of a Power Ring however.[1]

History

While Sonic the Hedgehog was on a mission in Robotropolis to save people from being roboticized, he was hit by the Memory Scrambler while distracted. Losing his memory, he sided with Snively in order to take out the Knothole Freedom Fighters. When Snively temporarily learned of Knothole's location, he went there with Swat-bots and the Memory Scrambler to take out the Freedom Fighters. He ended up using the Memory Scrambler on Dulcy, Antoine Depardieu, Bunnie Rabbot, and Rotor Walrus before losing it to a memory-restored Sonic, who used it on Snively himself, and convinced the man that Dr. Robotnik was his enemy.[1]
