The Mercian Freedom Fighters are a group of Freedom Fighters located in the former Kingdom of Mercia led by Rob O' the Hedge and, for the current time, Bow Sparrow.
History
The group fought against the tyranny of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's sub-boss known as the High Sheriff. Tragedy befell the group however as every member except Rob was captured and subsequently roboticized. Rob continued to spy on the High Sheriff and his operations, hoping to one day free his comrades. (StH: #58, KtE: #12)
The only two known members of the Crazy Kritters are Rob O' the Hedge and the Friar. The latter was de-roboticized by the Bem along with all but five other Robians and was seen fighting along side Rob during the fight against the Xorda. (StH: #123, #125)
According to Bow Sparrow, Rob O' the Hedge and Mari-An had left the Mercian Freedom Fighters to protect their child from the harm of the Dark Egg Legion. (SU #46)
Trivia
- All of the members of the group, with the exception of Bow Sparrow and Thorn the Lop, have some sort of Robin Hood-esque name.
