Merlina the Wizard is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a young wizard from another Zone, where she is the royal wizard to King Arthur.

History

For some reason, Merlina incurred the wrath of King Arthur, prompting the tyrannical king to chase after her. In order to save herself, she summoned Sonic the Hedgehog from alternate Zone in order to fight King Arthur and his monstrous knights. While Sonic took out Arthur's minions, Merlina pulled him back when he tried to take on the king, and teleported the two of them away in a whirlwind of dust.

Powers and abilities

Wielding magic, Merlina is capable teleporting herself and others, and summon people from other dimensions through rituals. She is also surprisingly fast and strong, catching Sonic the Hedgehog while he ran at high speed and even pull him back.
