  • Had me confused there when you deleted my article but turned out you renamed it.

I called my article "Pearls" because the article Rings also ends with the letter S and I was covering both regular Pearl and Rich Pearl, unless these articles need to be seperated.

Oh wait, scratch that, I was wrong about the Ring article. I guess I'm so used to "Rings" as a link that I didn't noticed.

If you want, you could separate the Pearl and Rich Pearl articles, that's something we can allow.

Rings does need to be renamed though, I can handle it unless you want to. Not a problem lol.

EDIT: Scratch that, Rings is a redirect to Ring.

Yeah the 'Ring' thing caught me off guard. And I tihnk for the time being it's best we have Pearl and Rich Pearl on same article. I'm all for technical article use and well aware Rich Ring has it's own article, but both pearls show up in one game and it doesn't really seem much to seperate them over.

Also isn't String of Pearls worthy of Pearl trivia? I know they are completely sepeate items but they both show up in the Storybook series. I figure thats trivia enough.

It doesn't matter if they appear in the same game, it's worthy of being in a different article.

Also, I removed the String of Pearls trivia because it was irrelevant, regardless if they showed up in the same sub-series.

Well it just seems kinda a waste of a whole webpage for just a paragraph of information of the Rich Pearl.

A Rich Pearl is a type of collectible items that appear throughout Sonic and the Secret Rings. They are just as rare as Rich Rings in the World of the Arabian Nights. They are for charging the Soul Gauge.

Bigger than average pearls, they add 20× more to the Soul Gauge. They appear larger and have more of a visible aura around them."

Thats about all there is on Rich Pearls.

Just seems too little for much of an article. Rich Rings had a bit more info than what I summed up as well as image gallery. Looking through S&tSR images we don't seem to have any screenshots or proper pictures of Rich Pearls.

Well, okay. It does seem a little too short for an article.

Well... I went ahead and made Rich Pearl article. But I can delete it if you want. I figured "Might end up with a long lengthy debate in which I'll just end up wrong" so I thought might as well get it over with.

  • Serisouly what's up with that 10 I know I don't follow most of the techincal stuff on the sight but I'm pretty sure I would know if thier was a big thing going on that involved a 10 in relation to Sonic.

  • I'm not sure if you've been asked this yet but does Sonic CD take place inbetween Sonic 1 & Sonic 2 or inbetween Sonic 3&K & Sonic 4 Ep: 1?

Here's a link to say it takes place inbetween Sonic 3&K & Sonic 4 Ep:1

    • There isn't official material stating when it takes place, though by using hints with the story and context clues, Sonic CD is most likely to take place after Sonic 1. The reason I would say that is because at the end of Sonic 2, we see Sonic and Tails flying above the ocean, and we can assume they kept flying until they got to Angel Island. Further proof goes to Sonic turning super as they get to Angel Island at the beginning of Sonic 3 and the Death Egg crashing nearby, probably landing on Angel Island.

However, that's all just speculation, so I'm probably wrong. There isn't an official source or a timeline. Sorry if I couldn't help you.

    • Oh Okay, thanks anyway. There have been more hints for me tyo believe the game takes place between Sonic 3&K and sonic 4 Ep: 1.

  • Can you love Gemerl as Shard? Because it seems like Gemerl IS Shard now.

  • Why do you insist on the Wily name? It is nothing like Eggman's. "Dr. Eggman" is another name for himself, as his real name is "Ivo Robotnik", yet the latter name is more prominent. Doctor Albert W. Wily is Wily's only name. It cannot compare to Eggman's.

      Loading editor
    • Think about it this way: we have the article as "Doctor Eggman", right? His full name is "Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik". If we're going to have "Doctor Albert W. Wily" instead of "Doctor Wily" for the article name, then show some consistency and change the "Doctor Eggman" article to "Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik" instead of having all of these doctor articles have their first name except Eggman, because apparently Eggman gets special treatment.

So, either change "Doctor Eggman" to "Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik" to show consistency, or leave the "Doctor Wily" article title as is.

    • No, Eggman's name is not that. He has two names: Eggman and Ivo Robotnik: Albert W. Wily is not two names mashed together, it is one whole name. Eggman's current name is just what has been decided as the more prominent of the two of them.

    • Ultra, you're killing me, with this argument and the fact that you don't follow the "[Story Arc] - [Part]: [Part Subtitle]". How many times have I told you to follow that, yet you continue to disregard it? It's making me just want to find another wiki to edit since you keep doing things your way and not the way I've established and it really pisses me off.

"Doctor Wily" is what we know him as, not this "Albert W. Wily" full name nonsense. If we're doing full names, then "Doctor Ivo Eggman" is what we're giving Eggman the title of. Make up your mind.

      • 1: Because I have read the graphic novels and they do not use "-" to connect the parts. Second, I try to follow an already established system for such references which was there long before you took them up: the Sonic the Comic references. They use such a system.
      • 2. I keep saying that his name is either Eggman or Ivo Robotnik. Not a merge of them. Also, the Mega Man wiki uses it, the Mobius Encylopedia uses it. I cannot live with myself knowing we are doing something different and it turns out to be wrong.
