The time has finally come. My Super Smash Bros. revote is finally up! And I want you to highlight it so that everyone can participate. Here's the thread. It's important because every vote counts and I don't want to end up moving my Smash userspace into the mainspace without any permission.
Hey, Unleashed. I am going to address you something about what's happening in the recent. Whosoever is reading this and is ready to rip my face off with bold letters and caps, please note this is a suggestion, and I'm looking to broaden my opinion, not a demand to block Bullet out of hate, because some people are too quick too judge.
So basically, almost everytime Bullet has his foot in the game, he causes mishap, disdain and trouble during his adminship runs and now the're this : His immature way of handling any form of criticism. If the community has a problem, he should address himself etc. but he chooses to bring up sob stories, blame games and nonsense by leaving forever. Also to mention how he broke the rules by stealing his adminship back, so I personally believe some type of consequence should be made as this is not his first time, and leaving the wiki in an informal matter should not be an excuse to not being blocked under professional lines.
I just need you thoughts because you seem the most fit for this.
Well, I was there when he left, and he didn't seem immature about it at all. Maybe somewhat emotional, but he didn't cause any trouble: he left to prevent conflict and yes, I believe, to avoid giving a defense to the arguments of Sacor and others. He reverted his profile back to the way he left it in January as a sort of troll and all, I don't mind it; he's not really stating anything new in his profile to indicate how he feels about us now (and he was certainly not hateful in chat).
...leaving the wiki in an informal matter should not be an excuse to not being blocked under professional lines.
I agree with that statement; but I don't believe Bullet has done anything worthy of a block. He didn't bring up any "blames games" or much nonsense, and the correct punishment for "stealing his adminship back" was to remove it, which has been done (it would've happened if he hadn't demoted himself, thus ending the demotion). So yeah, I think blocking him would be beating a dead horse. Let him leave in peace this time.
I appreciate the maturity in your response, and am thankful for it. But beating a dead horse is equivalent to leaving the wiki in an informal matter should not be an excuse to not being blocked under professional lines. I myself was block for mild rude behaviour, for a good week for some reason, and for every time Bullet blocked a user, it was always mild behaviour mismanagement. Bullet's is more and is disrespectful. Not blocking Bullet almost seem too sympathetic.
However, I'd leave him alone. Banning Bullet is pointless.
Kyle added the message back on his userpage since he believes that his first demotion from DF would play out again hence "history has repeating itself". After following those words, he prolly thought it would be fitting to add the departure message back, since it's the same departure message when he first left - once again hence "history has repeated itself". I can't confirm this, but he's fully aware that Kyle's departure message from a year ago and has some points that are outdated in today's SNN.
Hello Shadowunleashed13! I've recently created my own wiki, Project Shadow Data Base. Since you did a lot of the coding for Any Rose wiki, I was wondering if you could tell me how to get a picture of Shadow in the title in the top left hand corner? Pretty please?
By "title", do you mean the picture to the right? If so, then just check the theme designer section (Special:ThemeDesigner) on the admin dashboard (Special:Admin) on your wiki. There, you have the option to upload a custom file to go in that area. However, you've got to be precise: the image has to be within certain dimensions and a certain amount of memory.
Hello Unleashed. I don't want to sugarcoat it, but I don't want to hurt you either, so I am just gonna say it. I have seen the new design you are trying to implement for the new templates, and frankly, I don't like them. At all. The way the different sections come together with no different background or outlines between them to distinguish them makes it impossible to tell the different sections from each other, causing the texts and links to blend together. And that is something I absolutely despise. They also have excessive spaces at their edges which give them a clunky built-up when placed in rows with other navboxes. This kinda degrades the naxboxes to what we had of options for that before, which by the way, were horrible options. Not to mention all that hard work we went through to find a design for those navboxes in the first place.
I am not trying to criticize you, but I figure a voice should be said before you go through with something this big without agreements from others. If you could find a to preserve the outlines between the sections and the coloration of the background though, I wont complain.
