Neo Metal Sonic

Neo Metal Sonic is one of Metal Sonic forms seen in Sonic Heroes. He takes this form throughout most of the game in which he uses to disguise himself as Dr. Eggman and copies the data of who he fights against. He gained this form when he absorbed Chocola the Chao and Froggy who both have a link to Chaos and thus uses this power to change his body. He also demonstrates his power by destroying the Final Fortress' tower with a large lightning bolt, then using the debris to transform into a stronger form, Metal Madness. It is unknown if he will appear in future games. In Sonic the Comic there are Metal Sonics that resemble him.^{[citation needed]}

Metal Overlord is the super charged form of Neo Metal Sonic. He is fought in the last Story of Sonic Heroes, "Metal Madness". He attacks by shooting out crystal object, which Super Sonic can Homing Attack on to gain power for the team blast, shoot out beams that can freeze your teammates, and by throwing large crafts at you, which can be destroyed by Knuckles. His appearence is that of a heavily-armed mechanical dragon, with two eyes lined up vertically. Metal Overlord's only  known upgrade from Metal Madness is he detaches himself from the Final Fortresses tower and is therefore able to fly. Team Blast is the only way to hurt Metal Overlord.
