Metarex Crystal (メタレックス・クリスタル, Metarekkusu Kurisutaru^?) is a character that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It was a crystalline Metarex with a body made of inorganic ice.

Metarex Saga

The Metarex Crystal occupied Planet Breezy that had been left covered in ice by the removal of its Planet Egg. Metarex Crystal was involved in the efforts of the Metarex to create artificial Chaos Emeralds, and produced a red one that it used to empower itself during a battle with Sonic and his allies, but was defeated.

Powers and abilities

The Metarex Crystal had the ability to grow portions of its crystal body into razor-sharp spikes or blades for use against enemies, and has as well a freezing breath.
