Mr. Bobo is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He was Dr. Robotnik's beloved pet cockroach. According to Dr. Robotnik, Mr. Bobo was "A villain's best friend; brave, trustworthy, loyal, and always willing to share his lunch."
Trivia[]
- Mr. Bobo's name is a reference to the Spanish, Portuguese and Filipino slang word of the same name, meaning "stupid". It also refers to the mindsets of Scratch and Grounder.
- A bug with the same design as Mr. Bobo appears as a resident of Doctor Robotnik's Fortress, in the episode "Honey, I Shrunk the Hedgehog". Whether it is Mr. Bobo or another unrelated cockroach is unknown, as Dr. Robotnik simply refers to it as a "giant bug".
- Robotnik refers to Mr. Bobo in past-tense, and states he misses him, implying that Mr. Bobo is deceased or Robotnik lost him at some point.
