Nicole is a character mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, published by Archie Comics. She was a sentient handheld computer whom Nicole in the Prime Zone was based on.

History[]

Origin and Destruction[]

Nicole was created in an unseen alternate future reality. She was sent to Princess Sally Acorn in the past of another alternate future Mobius by Sally's future self to be the friend she would need the most after her mentor Julayla passed away.[1] In this timeline Nicole was a both a valued mentor and the most trusted advisor to Sally Acorn.[2][1] She was also essential to the Freedom Fighters in the defeat of Dr. Robotnik.[3] However, she was destroyed during the final battle with Robotnik after he had subjugated himself to Roboticization.[1][4]

Legacy[]

After Nicole was destroyed, Rotor spend years striving to reclaim her lost technology. About twenty-five years after the decisive battle with Robotnik, Rotor managed to rebuild an alternate Nicole based on the original one. Now queen, Sally sent this Nicole back in time to provide the guidance her younger self would need after the loss of her mentor, Julayla.[1][3]
