Neddy is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a centaur native to the centaur village of Portstable in the Nameless Zone. He appears to be one his village's hunters, since, unlike the other villagers, he carries a bow, arrows, and a spear.
History
For weeks, Neddy and his fellow villagers were plagued by a wild gryphon who was terrorizing their village. One day, while outside his village with Ginny, they saw Tails defeat the gryphon. Coming up to Tails, Neddy and Ginny expressing their gratitude on behalf of their village to Tails and named him a hero, calling him "Sir Tails". Neddy and Ginny then brought Tails to their village where they hailed him, though when Tails attempted to explain that he had won by luck, Neddy brushed this off as modesty. Offering their help to Tails, Neddy and Ginny heard that Tails was attempting to rescue Jimmy and Jilly from the goblins of Castle Morbidden. To aid him, Neddy and Ginny gave Tails their swiftest boat to take him there (although they did not explain how to stop it).[1]
