The World of NiGHTS into Dreams...[1] is a location that appears in the Worlds Unite crossover published by Archie Comics. It is an alternate Zone connected to the multiverses hosting Sonic's World and Mega Man's World. This world was among the many to come under threat from Sigma, forcing its inhabitants to rise up alongside the heroes of the Unified Army.

History[]

Worlds Unite[]

The World of NiGHTS into Dreams... was one of the many invaded by Sigma's army of revived Mavericks, where Storm Eagle and Storm Owl attacked Nights and Reala while they were dueling in the Dream Gate. When Miles "Tails" Prower and Air Man arrived to help, NiGHTS and Reala defeated the Mavericks and the two visitors asked if they wanted to join the battle against Sigma. NiGHTS gladly agreed, but Reala only went due to Wizeman ordering the Nightmaren to assist them and make Sigma pay for his arrogance.[1]

Trivia[]

Nights comics

Nights in their comic series.

  • Nights into Dreams had a comic miniseries produced by Archie Comics in 1998. It was originally planned as three issues, but sold well enough to be expanded into six. The series was notable for designating NiGHTS as a male; the games' creators had purposefully designed the character to be androgynous so that players could interpret the character whichever way they preferred.
  • As seen within the Worlds Collide issues, Nights bears the character design from the game Nights: Journey of Dreams, as well as a few features included from Nights into Dreams. There is no lace presented on the sleeves and Nights is not wearing gloves, as compared to the Nights Journey of Dreams character design.
